We have introduced the "Veggie Check," a device developed by Kagome Co., Ltd. that displays vegetable intake levels and estimated vegetable intake amounts within seconds by pressing the palm against a sensor, as a tablet.
Current implementation status:
Currently, "Veggie Check (R)" is being utilized in various locations. For example, it is used as a diagnostic tool for employee health promotion in companies and municipalities, as well as at events to help raise awareness of health. Additionally, companies promoting vegetable intake are using it as a promotional tool, and we hope to expand its use widely in the future.
Regarding the tablet, it is possible to set the system bar to be hidden to prevent unnecessary operations by the user that could lead to errors, and the absence of extra pre-installed apps means that operations are not hindered, resulting in less stress during development. Furthermore, the TA2C DR94G has rubber bumpers on the sides, which reduces concerns about impacts and shocks.
